Dragonball Online Ultimate New player Guide

Edit: Citrinate also has a similar guide here. You should read that too. He covers some of the thing I cover in greater detail, but I also cover some other things. (Maybe the guides should be merged. I have no problem with that.

1.Intro

Hello and welcome to the Ultimate New Player guide.

So you have downloaded the game, created a free taiwanese account (this guide works for korean too), installed the English Patch and created your human (cause it all about TEH SUPA SAYANS, amiright?) and now you have no idea what the hell is going on. Well this guide is here to help you understand some of the basic aspects of the game to get you started. I am assuming you have some experience with mmos or rpgs in general, so I won't cover trivial stuff such as what are Life Points, experience points, levels and what they do. If you don't, then this game is probably not for you yet, as being in chinese doesn't help you get accustomed to mmos.

Dragonball Online DewPoints guide to getting your balls to

These are beginner tips for people just starting out who need to understand what dragonballs look like and how to go about hunting them. Please do not confuse these with the Tier 1 dragonballs (dragonballs obtained through quests lvl 1-20), they do not work with tier 2 dragonballs which is what this guide goes over. At lvl 20 you obtain the dragonball radar chip and it allows you to locate tier 2 dragonballs.

***For the most current effective strategies, see Strategies 1 and 2
1. Using the dragonball Radar
if you havent gotten the chip yet, this isnt gonna help you, and if you get a dragonball with out this chip, then you're a super lucky bastard, and i highly recommend the lottery to you.
Youre going to use this radar up in your minimap to find a dragonball. Its impossible to miss, its a big orange dragonball. kill the corresponding mon, if you cant find it then hit T and you will see a dragonball icon under the mobs name. Also important note that i forgot, you cannot get a dragonball from a low level mob, the mob has to be within 5 levels of you i believe. if you could get dragonballs from low level mobs, lvl 50 koreans would be ksing the **** out of every nub area, so keep that in mind. Also, the higher the level the mob, the greater chance of a drop up to 5 lvls higher than you. Also the rank of the mobs such as super, ultra, boss, increases the chances.

Dragonball Online Adult and Master Class Quest Guide

Step 1: Once you reach level 30, find and destroy the crate pictured below that you'll found at various locations in the Karin Forest zone. If a create isn't at one of the locations it's because someone probably destroyed it recently. You'll either need to wait until the crate re-spawns, change to a different channel, or try and find one at a different location.

You can do this step, the next one, and a few others before you reach level 30, but you'll have to wait until level 30 to complete the quest line. If, when you begin to focus on becoming an adult, you notice that some of the quests aren't there, it's probably because you've done them already at an earlier level.

Dragonball Online Namekian Warrior Guideline

Basically a basic guide for the most underplayed class in DBO; concerning skills builds and strategies based on my time spent as a warrior. It's broken down into a few topics and sub-cats. I will not go into depth about skills specifics; although if you have questions feel free to ask.

Warrior Overview
The most popular reason turns out to be the most biased one it's because golden haired humans are in game ohh, and Buu's. The less known reason and most sensible is that they are a hard race to level. Warriors have low damage output; To add to that they only have one buff giving a hardly noticable boost to physical attack. Creating the most frustratable race this applies even more so to healers.

Role
Party-You are a meat bag a huge slab of beef made to dangle on a hook in front of enemies and not a very good one to start out with. Majins outshine Nameks in tanking due to higher defense... This is the same for every class we are all around inferior to every class because; where they specialize we merely imitate(Later explained in skills).

Dragonball Online Basic questing tips for new comers

I see a lot of our new players have a lot of trouble finding quests/just questing in general. I thought I would post a few helpful tips to make it easier on you to progress to 30 (seeing how I see a lot complain about 27-30). Getting to 30 is very easy, you just gotta focus becuase 27-30 does slow down a bit, or at least it feels like it.

Tip 1: Use your scouter to find quests!!!! it doesn't cover the whole land but it covers a LOT of ground. For those that are unaware, in the beginners guide, it explains how to do this. You press "T" to bring up your scouter screen, then hit the 2nd option in the list on the right (NOTE: You need the yellow scouter chip you got from a starting area quest in your scouter to get this to work. If you vendered it, all scouter venders sell them, so just buy it back)

Tip 2: Look up builds for your class in the class section. i can not stress enough how important this is. If you don't plan to use the cash shop for a reset book eventually, find a build you like and stick with it. It can make or break your gameplay. For example maxxing out wolf fang fist for MA's is important because it is their strongest attack. This will make fighting those pesky supers much easier, you
