So yea am curious to know what is Defense rate?
I've asked before in-game and i have been told that it's similar to resistance. But am not quiet sure.
Does it increase defense...decrease damage of enemy or increase resistance of debuffs & stuns?
Am an Ultimate Majin and am curious on that passive that am getting :O

defense rates actually sucks . Defense rate is a chance where you will auto block an attack reducing its damage a little bit , but when you do that for some weird reason your LP recovery doesnt count. So if you are lets say and ultimate with 60% lp recovery , instead of receaving that amount back you actually take almost the whole damage.
So lets do a base chart:
Pros:
- If you are a con focused character , defense rate will increase your survavility
- defense rate decreases the chance of knocking down
- defense rate will increase your chances of countering a move when you use guard
con :
- it doesnt have anything to do with debuffs
- if you are a LP% recovery focused char , your defense rate will actually act as a debuff, getting you killed a lot of times
- even guarding , it doesnt increase the chances of blocking debuffs ( thats resitance
)
